Our team has grown and changed a lot this month! On November 2nd 2009 (my 30th birthday ), our new hygienist, Karen Thompson, commenced practicing. It was really the best birthday present I could wish for. We can now say that we are observing the 'gold standard' in dental care and especially in the preventative part of our service. I have been working towards this since the practice opened back in March 2006 and I am very proud of this addition. Above all, this new service is for our client's enjoyment, so please, ENJOY! I am looking forward to your feedback!

Tijana Fisher, Practice Principal

Dr Fisher has recently attended a two day seminar in the Gold Coast dedicated to tooth wear. She has been impressed by the presentations and surprised to learn that tooth wear is primarily caused by prolongued exposure of teeth to external or intrinsic acids. In fact, majority of people who suffer from this disease exhibit medical and/or lifestyle factors that expose them to higher risks of tooth wear. Recent studies also show that even tooth sensitivity is caused by the same process of acid dissolution. If you suffer from tooth sensitivity, please do not hesitate to contact us for advice as soon as possible.

Most of our clients will already be aware that Dr Nesic-Fisher has returned to work full time, as of March 5th. This is a very busy time for our practice and Dr Nesic-Fisher wanted to personally oversee every patient's care. 

Dr Hendrik Lai no longer practices with us. Dr Lai took great care of our patients whilst Dr Nesic-Fisher was on maternity leave and we are very grateful for that. We wish Dr Lai all the best in his future endeavors.

In July, Tijana will be returning to the practice one day per week on Fridays, starting from July 4th. Her hours will be between 8am and 2pm. We are now taking bookings for these days, so if you want to reserve an appointment and catch up with Tijana, please give us a call on 9232 6367.

Dr Tijana Nesic-Fisher and her husband Guy Fisher were overjoyed to welcome their little baby daughter, Charlie Fisher, who arrived into this world on January 17th 2008 just after 10pm

As some of you may already know, our Principal Dentist, Dr Tijana Nesic-Fisher is expecting a little baby girl in late January 2008. She is now getting to the tail-end of her pregnancy and feels that she needs to cut down her working week a little, to get prepared for the joys of motherhood.

We have enlisted the help of our new Associate Dentist, Dr Hendrik Lai, to help Dr Nesic-Fisher through this time. We hope this is a beginning of a very successful Associateship and then Partnership between Dr Lai and Dr Nesic-Fisher.

In April 2007, we celebrated our first year anniversary at the lovely Watershed Bar in Darling Harbour. Thank you to all the guests who attended on such a cold night, we hope you had a great time!
